This elegant collector's plaque serves as the perfect token for the 2000 Subway Series historic event. Two teams from New York faced each other in the World Series for the first time since 1956. It was also the first time that the Mets and Yankees have met in the fall classic.

Team pictures and player rosters are included on the plaque for both the New York Yankees and the New York Mets. It also colorfully depicts the two subway trains that you take to each stadium--the Number 4 train to Yankee Stadium and the Number 7 train to Shea Stadium. The World Series logo rests in the middle of the display.

This wood composite plaque is covered in a brown cherry wood overlay. The picture is then laminated on a metal plate and mounted on the plaque. Measures 13" x 16".
